Lemons also belong to the same category (superfood) as celery. But why exactly are lemons supposed to help with diabetes? Lemons are rich in vitamin C and this vitamin protects the diabetic from the long-term effects of the disease by improving blood levels, especially the so critical Hb1Ac. Lemons detoxify the body, either indirectly through vitamin C, but also the peel is a very good binder for heavy metals.
A 2016 study published in the International Journal of Biological Marcomolecules focused on the effect of lemons on diabetes. The researchers found that the pectins contained in the lemon peel were able to significantly reduce blood sugar after 4 weeks. A reduction in insulin resistance was also observed. In addition, pectin intake has improved glucose tolerance and blood lipid levels. The study was conducted on laboratory rats!

-3 lemons
preparation
-Wash the celery well and then grate it slightly
-Put the grated celery and celery seeds in a small pot.
-Squeeze the 3 lemons and pour the juice into the pot.
-Cover the pot (lid)
-Next, fill a large pot with water and put a small pot in it.
-Now we put the pots on the stove and let them boil.
-Cook for a maximum of 1 min. at boiling temperature and then reduce the heat.
-Let the mixture simmer for 1 hour at low temperature and stir occasionally.
-Allow the mixture to cool and place in a small container (with lid)
