With the identity problem.
He kept describing them erroneously as "servants of Saul" (verse 8).
They believed his lies. The truth is that they were not servants of Saul, but the armies of the living God (verse 26).
It took a young David who had knowledge of who he was in God to face Goliath, an uncircumcised philistine, and secure victory for God's people.
- THE AMBASSADOR OF CHRIST : 2nd corth 5:20. An ambassador is an official representative from one country to another. As believers, we are Christ's ambassadors, sent with his message of reconciliation to the world.
A CHILD OF GOD : can any person harm you, If you are a really child of God.
A CHRISTIAN : act 11:26. This shows you that you are a follower of Christ.
THE ELECT OF GOD : you are God's own choice. He elect you.
VESSELS OF MERCY : you are among those whom God mercifully has led to repent of their sins and believe on christjesus.
THE REDEEMED OF THE LORD : we are washed with the blood of Jesus- col.1:4. We are no longer under the devil but are seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus far above principalities and powers.
THE WITNESS OF GOD : who is a witness? Are you a true witness?
