@DAILYCELESTIALCHALLENGE: ROCK

Hi every one, hope your night was fine. today i will be writing on a topic titled Rock in celestial challenge initiated by my mentor @sirknight.

What is Rock?
Rock is any hard part of the earth crush.
The solid mineral material forming part of the surface of the earth and other similar planets, exposed on the surface of the soil or underlying the soil.

Rock is hard and also rough.
There are three types of rocks, they are
Sedimentary,
Metamorphic, and
Igneous rock
let tell you what they are.

1. Igneous rock:
   Extrusive igneous rocks, known as volcanic rocks, are formed at the crust's surface of the earth as a result of the partial melting of rocks within the mantle and crust. Extrusive igneous rocks cool and solidify quicker than intrusive igneous rocks. They are formed by the cooling of molten magma on the earth's surface. it is also called the first type of rocks.

1. Sedimentary rock:
   Sedimentary rocks are types of rock that are formed by the deposition and subsequent cementation of that material at the Earth's crust and within bodies of water and around the surface of a water.. Sedimentation is the collective name for processes that cause mineral or organic particles (detritus) to settle in place.

1. Metamorphic rock.
   This is the combination of both igneous and sedimentary rocks together.
   Metamorphic rocks arise from the transformation of existing rock types, in a process called metamorphism, which means "change in form".

USES OF ROCKS
1.Rocks can be source of mineral to man e.g gold
2.Rock is also used for construction
3.They can form mountain which is beautiful.
