Good day to all the friends of the steemit community, in this opportunity following with daily challenge promoted by @sirknight, #celestialchallenge, I want to share some images about lions, since they are fascinating because of their great importance and authority within the lands where they coexist .

In addition to how these animals can live among them as a family and share the same food they hunt, how they raise their puppies and teach them the art of hunting.

They are large predators that do not only hunt a kind of animal species but also how they hunt elephants during the drought season and lack of herds, many biologists and explorers nickname them as Giant Hunters.

Reproduction is very particular because by pack normally there is a male lion for every five lionesses and with all they mate, this is because their sperm are defective and do not leave the pregnant female in a single mating so they try it until Seven times a day, when one of the lionesses has puppies of another lion they can be killed by the leader of the pack.

For this and other things in my opinion the lion is the most imposing and wild animal of the animal kingdom, so the title of the king of the jungle has it well earned.
