The world fears time but time fears LAS PIRAMIDES
.In 1798 the emperor** Napoleon Bonaparte** began his campaign in Egypt and although it seems incredible, its scientific result was more valuable than the military because, among other things, the army of scholars and artists who accompanied him constituted the so-called Commission of Egypt whose most important merit It was the discovery of the famous ** PIEDRA ROSETA** with which the hieroglyphic script was deciphered in 1822
.
Egypt, territory surrounded by natural defenses is located between the Red Sea, the Nile River, the Arabian Desert and the Mediterranean Sea.
Once a year and for 3 months the Nile grows and its waters bless the fertile territory cultivated by the farmers, hunters and fishermen of Upper and Lower Egypt.
The Egyptians were organized into Clans who worshiped a TOTEM whose powers were manifested through a chief or Priest, as time went on these Clans were organized into provinces called NOMO, which settled in HIGH EGYPT and worshiped the God HORUS ( hawk), others did it in LOW EGYPT and worshiped the God Seth (dog), until King MENES conquered Lower Egypt and unified the country under an absolute monarchy.

Thus began the era of the Pharaohs, who built monumental tombs called** MASTABAS**, to which progressively they added floors until they reached 60 meters high.
The first pyramid built in Egypt, was designed by the Priest and architect INHOTEP and was known by the name SAQQARA 2,750 years before Christ.
50 years later, Pharaoh KEOPS ordered the construction of the GIZEH pyramid, one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world and the only one of them that still exists.
For its construction, the stones used weighed 15 tons and its quarries were located on the other side of the Nile river, it took 2,500,000 stones to lift the pyramid, the blocks slid on rollers because the Egyptians still did not know the wheel nor the iron to mold the rocks.
This effort, as we can imagine, required extensive mathematical and geometrical knowledge since this structure has 230 meters per side and 150 meters high, built with the minimum tolerable geometrical error. Some 100,000 men participated during the 23 years it took to build it, not counting the numerous logistical support required for the food, lodging, clothing and assistance of such a large group of workers.

The pyramid of Cheops then had two companions built by Pharaoh KEFREN and his son and successor MICERINO.
KEFREN also built the famous SPHINX, spectacular architectural jewel with the body of Leon and human head with the face of Pharaoh.
