Hello my dear friends of Steemit. Today I will be sharing with you a new topic in #celestialchallenge initiated by @sirknight, today's content is "Saturday - agriculture".

MUSHTROOMS

Mushrooms is the theme in this discussion, there are some important points that will be discussed in #celestialchallenge, Saturday edition #agriculture about mushrooms is the definition of mushrooms and the classification of mushrooms

DEFINITION OF MUSHROOMS

mushrooms are single or multiple-celled eukaryotic organisms with no chlorophyll. Mashrooms cells have walls composed of chitin. Because of its properties in the classification of living things, the fungi are separated in its own kingdom, it is not included in the kindom of protists, monera, or plantae. Because it is not chlorophyll, the fungus belongs to heterotof (obtaining food from other organisms), in this case a living fungus by outlining the organic materials present in its environment. Generally live mushrooms in a saprophyte living by harvesting oganik garbage like bankai become anoganic material. There are also mashrooms that live in parasites obtaining organic material from their host, others living with symbiotic mutualism living with other organisms in order to benefit each other.

CLASSIFICATION OF MASHROOMS

Mushrooms are classified according to the way of reproduction and body structure. In the classification with 4 kingdoms, the mushrooms are divided into 4 divisions :

Zygomycota

The mycologists have identified as many as 500 species of mushrooms from divisio Zygomycota. Mushrooms from this divisio generally live on land, in the soil or on plants and animals that have died. This divisio mushroom also lives on a rotten food. Examples of mushrooms from divisio Zygomycota are: Rhizopus oligoporus and Rhizopus nigricans.

Ascomycota

Ascomycota consists of about 31,000 species. Ascomycota is also called sac fungi. Given the name of sac fungi for producing spores from the sexual reproductive parts that are shaped like a sac. Some of the Ascomycota live in thick wooded forests and form a beautifully shaped reproductive structure.

  • Sacharomyces cereviceae
  • Penicillium chrysogenum
  • Penicillium notatum
  • Neurospora sitophilla
  • Claviceps purpurea.

Basidomycota

Basidiomycota Division consists of about 24,000 species. This mushrooms is easily recognizable because it generally has a fruit body like an umbrella. Although some of these division fungi can be consumed, some mushrooms can also be deadly. Some members of the genus Amanita verma contain very deadly toxins. Several types of Basidiomycota can also harm plants, such as causing death in crop fields.

  • Phakospora pachyrhizi
  • Ganoderma applanatum
  • Amanita caesarina
  • Auricularia polytricha
  • Puccinia graminis

Deuteromycota

mushrooms that are not yet known how sexual reproduction. Deuteromycota reproduces asexually with vegetative spores.
