I think there's a size or proportion difference too? I can't remember XD All I know is we seem to have alpacas but not llamas here. I don't know if it's because alpaca wool is better (as a lot of the places that have alpacas seem to be doing it either for the wool or to guard sheep) or whether they're less evil than llamas or just tolerate the weather better though XD
