HAUNTED HOTEL
The Dominican Hill and Retreat House best known as the Diplomat Hotel, the haunted hotel lays in the Dominican Hill, Baguio City. It is designed by Fr. Roque Ruaño and built in the year of 1913-1915 to be used as a resthouse for the Dominicans. And later on they turned it into a school named Colegio del Santissimo Rosario.
During the World War II, it became a shelter for the refugees, Dominican priests and nuns. But during the war the place was invaded by the Japanese forces which they turned into their headquarters and they beheaded many priests and nuns and even refugees in this place. In the year 1973-1987 it was renovated and became the Diplomat Hotel.
In the present time, it is now a historical site and a tourist spot known for its being a haunted hotel. People living near the hotel tells that they we're disturbed at night because of the noises coming from the hotel. Sounds of banging of doors and windows and even voices of people screaming as if they were agonizing. There are already lot of documentaries made about this mysterious structure.
