This is how the bible declares it
I am the light of the world ; he who follows me will not walk in darkness but will have the light of life. Jhon 8:12
Following Jesus means that we invite him to dwell in our hearts and therefore be the master of our lives.
This tells us that we must be like him, and be for the world ** light **, that is:

Amen! Light is not meant to be hidden under a bowl i think today a lot of people are trying to do that cause we hear so many people that believe in Jesus won't share him but rather then begin to share everything else that is bad in life and it is widely accepted
