Greetings my people of #STEEMIT, as always I want to start this article by thanking @sirknight for allowing us to express ourselves through #celestialchallenge.

These are the cruel stories behind the classic Disney movies

source

Going through the networks I found this article very interesting and I wanted to share it with you. I thought it was funny the way in which Disney has come to change the story a bit behind all these myths or stories for their own benefit.

Cinderella needed blood and mutilation

source

How do you remember it:

A princess mistreated by her stepmother goes to a dance and meets a prince, but she must escape before midnight and on the way she forgets a sneaker. Then the prince takes it and tests it to all the maidens of the kingdom, until he finds Cinderella and they live happily ever after.

source

What it was like:

In the original story of Charles Perrault, when the prince arrives at Cinderella's house, the stepmother orders his two daughters to cut off their thumbs to put on their sneakers.

Her plan does not work and Cinderella gets a happy ending; so happy that during his wedding with the prince, some pigeons devour the eyes of his stepsisters.

The sleeping beauty should not even be a story for children

source

How do you remember it:

In the Disney version, a princess is stung with the needle of a spinning wheel and falls into an eternal sleep. A brave prince rescues her with a kiss and they both live happily ever

source

What it was like:

In the Brothers Grimm version, Aurora does not wake up for a sweet kiss, but for the birth of her twins. Oh, I forgot to mention that here the prince does not kiss her; He gets pregnant and then he leaves, because he is married. When Aurora and her children arrive at the palace, the prince's wife tries to kill them, but the king stops her and allows Aurora to marry the guy who raped her.

Originally, Rapunzel married a blind prince

source

How do you remember it:

Rapunzel is a beautiful princess with long blond hair and lives trapped in a tower. One day he meets a bandit and together they have many adventures that do not appear in the original story.

source

What it was like:

This is perhaps the happiest story on this list. Rapunzel was the daughter of a couple of peasants who exchanged it with a witch for a bit of lambs (rapunzel) for a salad. One day, a prince who passed by her tower heard her sing, so she went up to the tower. That same night Rapunzel decided to marry him.

When the prince came back for her, he climbed up the golden hair but in the tower he met the witch. She threw him out the window and the prince fell on thorns that pierced his eyes.
For months he wandered blind through the prairies and forests of the kingdom, until he heard Rapunzel's voice in the distance. When he found her, she had two children, but her magical tears returned her sight.
Rapunzel and the prince were married and lived happily ever after.

these are only 3 cases of the many behind all the Disney movies. shows that the imagination is infinite and that not everything we know is as they show it.
