Celtics Trade Isaiah Thomas For Kyrie Irving

Here's a little something different from politics. The Boston Celtics traded Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic, and Brooklyn's unprotected 2018 first round draft pick for Cleveland's guard Kyrie Irving. Earlier this summer, Kyrie expressed interest in leaving Cleveland in favor of becoming a team leader, as opposed to playing alongside Lebron James. He'll be given that opportunity in Boston, for at least the last two years of his contract. Playing in a lineup comprised of Al Horford, Gordon Hayward, rookie Jayson Tatum, and Marcus Smart. Celtics look to improve upon last year's success and earn a trip to the finals; whereas, Cleveland is showing signs of entering into a rebuilding phase, after having appeared in the last three NBA Finals.
