Why cemeteries are peaceful and helpful for decluttering my mind

Last night I was waking with my husband and daughter after dinner and we walked by a cemetery. I absolutely love cemeteries because they are very peaceful. We didn't walk through the cemetery, but I wanted to stop for a while, look at it and take a snapshot.

Howevever I have walked through cemeteries in the past and it's the best place to help clear your mind. Our minds are so full of clutter because life is so busy. It is necessary to declutter every now and then otherwise your stress levels will go through the roof. There is a stillness in cemeteries that cannot really be explained.

Some people may be freaked out by cemeteries and will avoid them at all costs. Some people may prefer to take a walk in a park or by the water. That is helpful too but I just cannot explain the kind of peace I feel when I am walking through a cemetery. But it's my go to place when my mind is full that is in danger of exploding.

How brave you are. I would die of the fright if I go alone

I think a lot of people may feel the same way

I love walking through cemeteries as well, looking for possible ancestors!

That's also quite fascinating! I haven't found any in my experiences though.
