I was birding yesterday at the top hotspot in San Diego County, California and was in awe at the beauty of the acres and acres of the gravestones. There are over 100,000 graves at Rosecrans, most in these simple soldiers graves with the Pacific Ocean and fabulous landscaping as a backdrop.
