Left wing/right wing. Same bird.

And so it comes full circle. Just a generation ago it was the right-wing Christian conservatives burning records and declaring The Beatles as devil’s music. Now it’s the left-wing social justice warriors deciding what is and isn’t acceptable to listen to.

Left or right wing, it’s the same bird of oppression. The mouthpieces might change with the zeitgeist of the era, but when you look through the visor of individual freedom vs consolidation of power and control, you’ll see the vast majority of the time both wings are taking that bird on the same flight path.
