DTUBE Film Summary
I am discussing how in my opinion Facebook, Google, Twitter all want to become regulated as the "town square" by the government so that they can become permanent monopolies in this industry. The government if it gets it's way, will end up controlling these social media companies via government regulations which will result in the creation of permanent monopolies as have happened in other industries such as the energy industry, where in my town you have 1 choice for power EverSource or nothing. If this happens to the internet, you will have 1 source for social media or nothing. See the problem here?

Totally agree Titus. The other reason they want to be regulated is not only to remain intact and as they are, but they are so HEAVILY tied into the Intelligence Agencies, they don't wanna lose the surveillance they're involved in.
