What is sorting?
Sorting, or picking the best of two responses presented to you at one time, is the main action by which the best responses get curated to the top for more users to see. Additionally, sorting determines how the bounty is distributed across responses.
How do I sort replies for ETH?
Select the 'Sortable' filter on the main feed.
Click to view the post and scroll down below the post until you see the "SORT FOR ETH" button and click it.
You will be presented with pair sets of 2 replies each. Simply click the arrow that indicates which reply you think is "better."
20% of every bounty gets distributed amongst every user that sorts any replies based on the proportion of total number of individual sorts they've made in relation to the total number of sorts overall.
Sounds like it works the same way as @steem-bounty, where people put bounties and the answers/content that get most upvotes receives the bounty. Money looks like comes from those who put up the bounty.
Interesting. Thanks for sharing.
P.S. Ignore this. Looks like what I said above is not accurate.
You just got a 4.96% upvote from SteemPlus!
To get higher upvotes, earn more SteemPlus Points (SPP). On your Steemit wallet, check your SPP balance and click on "How to earn SPP?" to find out all the ways to earn.
If you're not using SteemPlus yet, please check our last posts in here to see the many ways in which SteemPlus can improve your Steem experience on Steemit and Busy.
It model look similar to curation model that we are using here. Only disadvantage there that need to tip with ETH (reduction of your money) and here your SP is used to vote othr and you do not decrease your steem.
@knircky has set 5.000 STEEM bounty on this post!
