The Central Forces will Always Protect Their Own

There is truly nothing new under the sun. Someone said recently that for all our advances in technology, our psychology is essentially the same as ever.

This comes down to the combination of our human nature, the difficulty of obtaining sound education, and the short span of the human life.

There has long since been a time when great teachers came into the world: Buddha, Socrates, Confucius, Jesus. These teachers taught people to think for themselves...

and the value and freedom of the individual against the central dogmas of the state and religious institutions. We have long since known the simple virtues to uplift ourselves,

to value each other, and to obtain greatness as a human civilization. Yet it is the congregation of power, of greed, the perpetuates the empires trouncing each other in fruitless cycles.

The central forces prefer the chaos of greed and violence, to manipulate the emotions and fears of the multitudes, and to profit from and exploit them in their submission and confusion.

Each cycle of civilization the stakes are higher, the destructive forces greater, the excuse of stupidity more pathetic to bear. Only though education and knowledge can we handle the foibles

of our own human nature and learn the truths during our short individual stint of a lifetime here. The whole can be greater than the broken parts. The center never holds, but envelopes itself.
