Thanks for tuning in !

I went to see Guy in Bantam, CT in March 2009 and here is the short clip I made of my visit !
He had much to teach me about throwing larger !
He was very kind and let me stay with him a couple of days, during which time I gave a workshop in Middletown, CT.
Greeting to any of those who were there at that workshop, back at that time.

Oh my gosh, that is so cool. I will be happy when I can get even small items to come out good. But thanks to your videos Simon I know I will get there. Keep making videos and I will keep practicing!!

Yes keep practicing and you'll get there ! 'NDAI' - no doubt about it !

All of your videos inspire me to "Keep Practicing!" Thank you so much!

Well I hope they do, and if so, then that is the best news ! ... thanks for your comment !

You are welcome :)

Excellent post dear friend @simonleach thank you so much for sharing your work of art

Gracias amigo, igualmente - Simon

The forearm technique is wonderful. I know with my wimpy hands and wrist I couldn't work with 25lbs of clay!

Yes he quite an inspiration ! some muscle and grunt is needed for this amount of clay.

You don't need to go to the gym throwing clay all day💪🏻

The potters wheel is the gym ! I 'm kidding it's not that hard work, but kneading and wedging up the clay does get the blood flowing !

Impressive. 25lb of clay! I think for now I'll stick to throwing thimbles.

Yes he is quite the 'strong man' isn't he ! Throwing larger work is something you can get used to though if you build up gradually.

True, but since my kilns are not huge either I have an excuse :) I could not fire my largest bowl (still need to bring it to a friend with a larger kiln).

Thank you for sharing. Upvoted and followed

Thank you, I appreciate that and I will follow along with you also :)

awesome :) Hope you have a wonderful day
