Kavac. Este pueblo se encuentra en el Parque Nacional Canaima, en una hermosa terraza o ladera que forma parte del Auyantepui, en su extremo sur-este. El origen de su nombre proviene del ave conocido como Kavac, que significa Loro Real, La experiencia de visitar esta pequeña población ubicada en la parte oeste de Kamarata, al pie del Cerro Auyantepuy, sólo es comparable a robarle al cielo un trozo de su perfección. Aterrizar en su suelo verde y bordado de agua, tiene un magnetismo difícil de explicar. Basta estar allí para reencontrarse con el espíritu, envolverse en una tranquilidad que encanta y devolverle la claridad al pensamiento.
