La tropa alfa

Cinco de los siete agentes capturados por la criatura todavía estaban lo suficientemente consciente como para entablar una conversación. Ninguno estaba seguro si la criatura podía oírlos con su tentáculo, ni mucho menos entender sus intenciones, pero aun así, rompieron el silencio. Primero que nada, intentaron despertara sus otros dos compañeros, los cuales aun respiraban, pero la mitad de sus cuerpos estaban atrapados debajo del tentáculo. Les gritaron fuertemente, con la esperanza de que alguno de ellos atendiera el llamado, pero fue totalmente inútil. Desesperadamente una de ellos intento lanzarles una roca que estaba a su alcance al tentáculo, para intentar hacer que se moviera y dejara a sus compañeros en paz.

El tentáculo tenia la asombrosa habilidad de deformarse, creando nuevos tentáculos más delgados a partir de tentáculo base, con esta artimaña, fue capaz de, poco a poco, ir inmovilizando a cada uno de los agentes a su alrededor. Los cinco agentes intentaron salir de su trampa con todas sus fuerzas, incluso utilizaron sus cuchillos para hacer que el tentáculo retrocediera un poco y los dejara de apretar tan fuerte, pero nada de esto funciono. Tras varios minutos de lucha inútil, se cansaron, el silencio nuevamente formo parte de su tragedia, hasta que comenzar a elucidar el modo de ataque de la criatura.

Ninguno de ellos había logrado entender el porqué de dicha espera. Durante toda la pelea pareciera que la criatura solo quería neutralizarlos, sacarlos de su camino para siempre, pero ahora que los tiene a todos derrotados e indefensos, no ha acabado con la vida de ninguno, incluyendo a los que están bastante débiles, nada tenía sentido, algo debería estar ocurriendo con la criatura. Uno de los agentes pensó que quizá la criatura está demasiado ocupada con el grupo alfa, y por lo tanto había concentrado todas sus fuerzas en defenderse de aquel lado, por esta razón los había ignorado a todos, pero no tardaba en volver a agredirlos.

Mientras tanto el grupo alfa seguía las órdenes de su líder local, habían preparado sus armas desde el inicio, ya estaban completamente listos para cualquier tipo de ataque. Caminaban con firmeza y sin titubear, seguían cada uno de los caminos que les sugirió Jonas, y aprovechaban para ir marcando posibles rutas alternas de escape durante todo el recorrido. De repente escuchar nuevamente un gran temblor debajo de sus pies, todos tenían presente que la criatura ya sabía de ellos, y se estaba aproximando a gran velocidad. Las armas desprendías chispas de gran intensidad, estaban configuradas a su máxima potencia, no habría ningún tipo de piedad ante cualquier criatura que se atreviera a atacarlos.

Siguieron caminando durante unos cinco minutos, hasta que repentinamente el tentáculo se abrió paso por uno de los arbustos del laberinto. Las armas se accionaron con gran sincronización, abrieron fuego al mismo tiempo al tentáculo de la criatura, quien demostró dolor ante el potente choque eléctrico. Mientras el tentáculo se retorcía, uno de los agentes se comunico con los líderes de Speculum, solicitando apoyo, a que consideraban que no podían solos con esta criatura, pero que a pesar de sus desventajas, había está logrando neutralizar el tentáculo de la zona alfa.

Fuera del laberinto, Lin fue preparando la salida de la tropa de refuerzo, previamente había escogido a algunos miembros locales del castillo, quienes ella consideraba que se destacaban en su actuación de combate. Ya estaban todos armados y listos para ayudar a sus compañeros, en total eran 10, y dado que la tropa beta no se había comunicado pidiendo ayuda, decidió auxiliar a la tropa alfa que estaba teniendo buenos resultados a pesar de la complejidad de la batalla. Los diez entraron por la zona alfa, siguiendo nuevamente las instrucciones de Jonas, el cual tenía cierta de idea de en cual zona del laberinto pudieran encontrarse los de la tropa alfa.

Desafortunadamente los integrantes de la comisión especial para la neutralización de criaturas, no sabían muy bien el mecanismo de ataque del tentáculo de la bestia. Los 10 integrantes de la tropa alfa fueron sorprendidos al ser atacado por unos tentáculos más delgados que nacían espontáneamente del tentáculo mayos. La criatura de encargo de arrebatarle todas sus armas, evitando así que continuaran con el ataque que estaban llevando a cabo, se recupero por unos segundos y ataco con mucha más fuerza a todos los integrantes. Los golpeo fuertemente con el suelo y con algunos arbustos, estaban heridos, aturdidos y desarmados.

En un abrir y cerrar de ojos, los tenía a los diez inmovilizados. Luego de varios intentos fallidos por escaparse, se quedaron a tonitos al ver que la criatura había soltado a tres de sus compañeros. La criatura permaneció tranquila, ninguno de los miembros entendió lo que estaba pasando, algunos aseguraron que era una trampa. Tras varios minutos de genuina incertidumbre, los tres miembros que estaban libres acordaron con sus otros 7 compañeros, buscar ayuda para sacarlos de esa situación. No hubo mucho que decir, había heridos graves y una criatura gigante amenazándoles la vida. Los tres miembros salieron corriendo en busca de la tropa de apoyo. A los pocos segundos, la criatura estrangulo violentamente los cuerpo de los 14 miembros que tenía en su poder, los 7 alfas y los 7 betas. Todos tuvieron una muerte bastante dolorosa. Luego se los tragó con la boca que tenía en la parte final de cada tentáculo, la ayuda que habían pedido no solo llegaría tarde, sino que no encontraría ningún cuerpo.

The alpha troop

Five of the seven agents captured by the creature were still conscious enough to engage in conversation. None were certain if the creature could hear them with its tentacle, much less understand their intentions, but they still broke the silence. First of all, they tried to awaken their other two companions, who were still breathing, but half of their bodies were trapped beneath the tentacle. They shouted at them loudly, hoping that one of them would answer the call, but it was totally useless. Desperately one of them tried to throw a rock that was within his reach at the tentacle, to try to make him move and leave his companions in peace.

The tentacle had the amazing ability to deform, creating new thinner tentacles from the base tentacle, with this trick, it was able to, little by little, immobilize each of the agents around it. The five agents tried to get out of their trap with all their strength, even using their knives to make the tentacle retreat a little and stop squeezing them so hard, but none of this worked. After several minutes of useless fighting, they got tired, silence again became part of their tragedy, until they began to elucidate the creature's mode of attack.

None of them had managed to understand the reason for the wait. During the whole fight it seemed that the creature only wanted to neutralize them, to get them out of their way forever, but now that it has them all defeated and defenseless, it has not ended the life of anyone, including those who are quite weak, nothing made sense, something should be happening with the creature. One of the agents thought that perhaps the creature is too busy with the alpha group, and therefore he had concentrated all his forces in defending himself on that side, for this reason he had ignored them all, but he did not take long to attack them again.

Meanwhile the alpha group was following the orders of their local leader, they had prepared their weapons from the beginning, they were completely ready for any type of attack. They walked firmly and without hesitation, followed each of the paths suggested by Jonas, and took the opportunity to mark possible alternative escape routes throughout the course. Suddenly, to hear again a great tremor under their feet, all were aware that the creature already knew about them, and was approaching at great speed. The weapons gave off sparks of great intensity, they were configured to their maximum power, there would be no mercy before any creature that dared to attack them.

They walked on for about five minutes, until suddenly the tentacle made its way through one of the bushes in the labyrinth. They opened fire at the same time to the creature's tentacle, which showed pain before the powerful electric shock. While the tentacle was twisting, one of the agents communicated with the leaders of Speculum, requesting support, which they considered they could not alone with this creature, but despite its disadvantages, had managed to neutralize the tentacle of the alpha zone.

Outside the labyrinth, Lin was preparing the exit of the reinforcement troop, she had previously chosen some local members of the castle, who she considered to be outstanding in their combat performance. They were all armed and ready to help their companions, in total there were 10, and since the beta troop had not communicated asking for help, decided to help the alpha troop that was having good results despite the complexity of the battle. The ten entered through the alpha zone, following again the instructions of Jonas, who had some idea of which zone of the labyrinth the alpha troop could be in.

Unfortunately, the members of the special commission for the neutralization of creatures did not know very well the mechanism of attack of the tentacle of the beast. The 10 members of the alpha troop were surprised to be attacked by thinner tentacles that were spontaneously born from the Mayan tentacle. The creature in charge of taking away all their weapons, thus preventing them from continuing with the attack they were carrying out, recovered for a few seconds and attacked with much more force to all members. He hit them hard with the ground and with some bushes, they were wounded, stunned and unarmed.

In the blink of an eye, he had the ten of them immobilized. After several failed attempts to escape, they were left to their senses when they saw that the creature had released three of its companions. The creature remained calm, none of the members understood what was happening, some claimed it was a trap. After several minutes of genuine uncertainty, the three members who were free agreed with their other 7 companions, to seek help to get them out of that situation. There was not much to say, there were serious injuries and a giant creature threatening their lives. The three members ran out in search of the support troop. A few seconds later, the creature violently strangled the bodies of the 14 members in its possession, the 7 alpha and 7 betas. All had a rather painful death. Then he swallowed them with the mouth he had at the end of each tentacle, the help they had asked for would not only arrive late, but he would not find any body.
