The Spanish-speaking Universe in Steemit is expanding. Therefore, @cervantes and its magazine grow and, like the universe, go back to the basics: Once a week, after our Cervantes Magazine that you already know, we will bring you this Basic Magazine in which you will find the sections that will give you the coordinates in order to navigate through the cosmos of the Cervantes world.
Bitcoin has gone down, dragging the whole world of cryptocurrencies with it. For many, what had become a parachute, has been closed abruptly, what can we do? Do we give up?
In 2013 bitcoin came to be worth the same as an ounce of gold: $1000, and then the infamous case of Mt. Gox occurred: the exchange house disappeared with the funds. Because of this, China declared that banks could not trade with bitcoin, so the market reaction was to lower its value to 600 dollars.
As of today, bitcoin no longer represents the entire cryptocurrency market, it covers 43%, with a business volume valued at $ 329,195,620,084 USD. Within that sea of numbers, our dear STEEM has $ 510.005.638 USD (considerably less).
What do these numbers mean? They mean that there is investment, there is interest in the cryptocurrencies, the blockchain world, and particularly in Steemit, to go up, so let’s not give up and continue to create quality content.
Welcome to the first Cervantes Basic!
Since ancient times, the universe has been an object of interest and study for the human being. That curiosity to discover what is in space has helped us to know many things about it nowadays. For example, we know that it is composed of stars, planets, galaxies, gases, black holes, etc. These are basic knowledge that we acquire in school through our teachers and textbooks.
But someone had to research and study them before they became part of our educational agendas.
This is when the work of scientists, philosophers, astronomers and dabblers comes into play. Beings who devoted a large part of their lives to investigate the universe. Their discoveries and theories transcended in time to our present. Copernicus and heliocentrism, Galileo with his telescope, Newton and the law of gravity, Einstein and relativity. All of them left record of their discoveries. Their theories have been studied by the masses and applied by other scientists to support diverse investigations.
Stephen Hawking, throughout his career and professional life was devoted to unraveling the intricacies that the universe hides.
When Hawking investigated the origins of the universe, he had to rely on other theories to work on and possibly improve them, as Albert Einstein's theory of relativity did. Hawking realized an extended version of that theory where he included the measurements of time and space. From there he was able to find out much more.
As you can see even the brightest brains look for fundamentals, inspiration and information in the creations of others, and always mention who and what their research has been based on. Respecting the intellectual property of the main creator.
This is something important that must be done, on one hand the established laws on copyright are followed and on the other hand, if that information reaches a distant future we would know who was the precursor of the idea or creation.
The same goes for the content created in Steemit. Everything is saved and can be consulted. To evolve content, draw your own conclusions or do a research work on a subject already discussed, should not be a problem, as long as we cite the sources used for the realization.
What today serves you as information, to complete an article (for example), maybe tomorrow, it could be the source of inspiration for another person to create something new.
The universe is so infinitely mysterious and unknown, full of amazing things like quasars, nebulae, galaxies, planets, satellites, comets, black holes, asteroids, meteorites.
And so, for our weekly summary of the Sainetes section, we asked the following question:
“Mine is the red planet, Mars. It’s the planet that rules my zodiac sign, Aries”.
“Mine is Jupiter”.
“Mine is the planet Venus, because of the Greek Goddess, Aphrodite”.
“My favorite planet is Saturn, i love how different it is from other planets, although each of them is unique, Saturn has something special to me: Its rings”
“My favorite planet is Saturn, i love its ice ring. My favorite constellation is Capricorn, undoubtedly the best zodiac sign jaja”.
“My favorite planet is Mars, because it’s enigmatic, and has a potential to be inhabited, as some think, and my constellation is, Leo, because that’s my sign jaja.
“This may not be a planet, although it supposedly formed from an Earth fragment; i don’t know much about other worlds, i do know a little about Mars and its red layer, about Jupiter and its many moons too, and about Pluto and its apparent irrelevancy; however, i think i’m more of a moon lover, the moon that accompanies Earth in its many nights and dawns. I think i could say that the moon is my favorite, because i’m constantly living on it”.
“The Pillars of Creation are not only beautiful and amazing, but they’re also like a Star Factory. Those gases are in constant formation of suns...and they are 7.000 light years from Earth. So, just around the corner”.
“My favorite planet is Uranus: The Wind Planet, associated with the Archangel Uriel. Some people believe that planets are espiritual masters (just like several elements in nature, earth, and the cosmos).
I really like that planet because, following that idea, it guide us and help us to find our own purpose in life. The energies of that planet are “liberating”, because they break karma and past burdens.
ALSO I ADMIT THAT IT IS MY FAVORITE BECAUSE OF SALIR URANUS
|#Queen| |#Royal| |#Empowered|”.
“Well i love Betelgeuse. It’s like a little Topas. Scientists affirm that it could explode at any moment and become a supernova, even its size surpasses many other stars, and has an exceptional brightness compared to more dense Stars.
A great and unique man is gone, but all his light stayed with us. Apart from being an eminent scientist, an incredible mind, a public figure and, why not, a comedian, Hawking also left us his legacy as a disseminator of science and many other things; it was always in his spirit to expose the complexities of the universe in simple words.
To share, that is our goal today. For all those Cervantes beginners and veterans, let this verb be a day-to-day action in our blockchain-based blog. Steemit continues to evolve in many ways, bringing information in different presentations: art of all kinds, talents, stories, knowledge in different areas, etc., and Cervantes is not far behind!
Any Cervantino who wants to disseminate and share talent (his own or someone else's) has the doors open to start exploring. Not only is the blog based on the blockchain available, which acts as an absolute basis for the transmission, there’s also complements within the blockchain that allow the flow of content in different presentations, such as Steepshot : a perfect app to keep in constant feedback all the photographic material you want to share.
On the other hand there are sites like D-Tube and D-Sound, ideal for audiovisual content, hosting videos of all kinds and musical material (albums, singles, soundtracks, and endless things!), we can also find platforms like Utopian.io for open source projects aimed at repairing general errors found in the Steemit platform, translations, data analysis and code developments.
Having fun has not been left aside, there are platforms such as dMania and DecentMemes which will allow you to create funny publications and share humor with the Steemit world.
We have many alternatives to disclose any information and content. It’s just necessary to think in what way and how it will be done. Steemit is a world where you can get everything you want to transmit: our day to day, the art that moves us, our talents, thoughts, humor, and news, in short: it’s a place where we can express ourselves, and of course, the Cervantes community will always give importance to any quality content that we want to share.
Thank you for being with us in this new adventure

The Mt. Gox saga was a sick joke. I know a lot of people who were hurt by that unmedigated fiasco. I pray nothing like that ever happens again. But we all know it will. Thanks for the share.
