Cuando llega la noche

Este es un dibujo de mi serie Voyeur en el que abordo con ironía el tema de la prostitución y la degradación moral y física de nuestra sociedad venezolana. Hoy cuando vivimos la peor crisis económica de nuestra historia, muchos buscan la manera de sobrevivir de cualquier modo, incluso por encima de su salud, dignidad e integridad. Voyeur es una serie en donde abordo y planteo al cuerpo como objeto de deseo morboso pero bajo una estética de lo feo, lo grotesco, lo ridículo, presentando cuerpos desgarbatos o regordetes, proporciones no canónicas que no entran en los ideales de belleza y armonía, dado que no todo acto de mirada es bello.

¿Qué técnica empleo?

En esta ocasión, la pieza es un dibujo que está realizado en la técnica del rapidograph a través del uso de la línea, tanto en forma aislada como en trama. Manejo un solo tono de claves bajas y luces en alto contraste. Las líneas de contorno cerradas y duras enfatizan el carácter chocante del tema.
