Alguien dijo: " cuando tienes un hijo, tienes todos los hijos del mundo" Y yo digo: Ser Maestra te convierte en madre de muchos!

Cuando me casé, pensaba en esperar por lo menos un año de matrimonio para tener mi primer hijo. Esto no ocurrió. Al contrario quedé embarazada a los dos meses de casada. Entonces sentí la maternidad como una bendición.
Desde que mi hija nació, sentí la responsabilidad total de su correcto desarrollo físico y mental, cognitivo. Sentía que todo niño debe y necesita crecer de la mejor manera posible en todos los sentidos.
Cuando mi hija tenía tres añitos me convertí en maestra y comencé a trabajar en la escuela a la que ella solía ir.
Fue allí y en ese tiempo que me di cuenta de mi vocación.

He tenido la oportunidad de tratar con niños de diferente estrato social, con muchas carencias afectivas y económicas y por otro lado, con niños que si bien tenían beneficios económicos no gozaban de la atención de una madre.
De sus bocas escuché muchas veces llamarme, por equivocación... Mamá.

Hoy día celebramos en Venezuela y en muchos otros países el día de la madre. Un día para muchos de alegría, de compartir, de agradecer y para otros muchos de tristeza y de pesar, por el hecho de no tener una madre con quien compartir, por la razón que sea.

Las maestras debemos tomar en cuenta el gran papel que nos ha tocado jugar en este planeta. Sabemos que aunque querramos, no podemos tomar la responsabilidad que tiene el ser quien les dio la vida a nuestros alumnos, pero si podemos, mientras estén con nosotros, darles todo el amor y la atención que estén a nuestro alcance.

Felicidades a todas las Madres en su día y también a todas aquellas que aunque no han tenido hijos, tienen la bendición de que sus alumnos, aunque sea por equivocación, las llamen MAMÁ.

When I got married, I was thinking of waiting at least a year of marriage to have my first child. This did not happen. On the contrary, I got pregnant after two months of marriage. Then I felt motherhood as a blessing.
Since my daughter was born, I felt the total responsibility of her correct physical and mental, cognitive development. I felt that every child should and needs to grow in the best way possible in every way.

When my daughter was three years old I became a teacher and started working at the school she used to go to.
It was there and in that time that I realized my vocation.
I have had the opportunity to deal with children of different social strata, with many affective and economic deficiencies and on the other hand, with children who, although they had economic benefits, did not enjoy the attention of a mother.
From their mouths I heard many times call me, by mistake ... Mom.

Today we celebrate Mother's Day in Venezuela and many other countries. A day for many of joy, of sharing, of thanking and for many others of sadness and regret, for the fact of not having a mother with whom to share, for whatever reason.

The teachers must take into account the great role that we have to play on this planet. We know that even if we want, we can not take the responsibility that the person who gave life to our students has, but we can, while they are with us, give them all the love and attention that is within our reach.

Congratulations to all the Mothers in their day and also to all those who, although they have not had children, have the blessing that their students, even by mistake, call them MOM.
