First of all I recommend an illustrative guide of the main birds of your country, I am a biologist and I specialize in birds, I have used the book of Hilty Birds of Venezuela for more than 8 years.

Draw and paint the birds is similar to the human being, not all have the same color, size. There is a great variety of bird species and many have different structures. With the book you can compare and get familiar.

Dibujar y pintar las aves es similar al ser humano no todos tienen el mismo color, tamaño. Existe gran variedad de especies de aves y muchas tienen estructuras distintas. Con el libro puedes comparar y familiarizarte.

Look at the painting, and compare the characteristics of this species with the first one I show you. Do you notice the differences? They have different legs, spikes, colors, sizes.

Mira la pintura, y compara las caracteristicas de esta especie con la primera que te muestro. ¿notas las diferencias?, tienen patas distintas, picos, colores, tamaño.

The following technique is my property, you can get other methods online but I give you one that was very effective for me.

La siguiente técnica es de mi propiedad, puedes conseguir otros métodos por internet pero te doy uno que para mi fue muy efectivo.

1. For all the birds, the first thing I draw is a line that represents the substrate or soil where she will be sitting.
2. Then I draw by hand or digital pencil two circles that represent: the head and body of the bird.
3. Then one the circles (attention: it is important that the unions are not in straight lines, they must have certain angles.
4. Finally I add what I call accessories of the bird: beak, legs, tail.

1. Para todas las aves yo lo primero que trazo es una linea que representa el sustrato o suelo donde ella estará posada.

2. Luego dibujo a mano o lápiz digital dos círculos que representan: la cabeza y el cuerpo del ave.

3. Luego uno los círculos (atención: es importante que las uniones no sean en lineas rectas, deben tener ciertos ángulos.

4. Por ultimo añado lo que llamo accesorios del ave: pico, patas, cola.

Cuidado con los picos puedes ver que esta ave playera tiene un pico distinto pues el pico varia depende su alimentacion
