Lightning Network získala svou první mobilní aplikaci v podobě peněženky Eclair společnosti ACINQ, která funguje od včerejška 4.dubna , na většině Androidů. Aplikaci pro Apple, prý nebude snadné spustit kvůli požadavkům ze strany Applu.
Toto vydání představuje první mobilní peněženku mainnet založenou na stále populárnějším protokolu.
Může být použita jako běžná Bitcoinová peněženka a může se také připojit k Lightning Networku, pro rychlé a levné platby, "píše ACINQ v popisu nabídky.

V době tisku LN mainnet zahrnoval 1335 veřejných uzlů a 3729 otevřených kanálů. Společnost Bitcoin již využívá zkušenosti uživatelů se společností SegWit, a to s nejnižšími poplatky za 1 satoshi na bajt.
V budoucnu by měl LN umožnit všem uživatelům služby Bitcoin odesílání transakcí téměř okamžitě s poplatky ve výši frakcí amerického centu.
