This is my entry to the contest CETACEAN DRAWING CONTEST: "Cosmic Whale" Organized by @jacinta.sevilla.
Thank you for such a beautiful contest with a social content to create co-consciousness about our marine friends
In this drawing you can enjoy this wonderful cetacean as it is the Great Blue Whale (Balaenoptera musculus), it can reach a length of 30 meters and weigh 170 tons, you can find several oceans of the world, and Like many marine animals it is in danger of extinction, either due to climate change, indiscriminate hunting and environmental pollution.
With this illustration I want to convey the cosmic relationship that exists between this Majestic creature and life, since for some cultures they are spiritual masters because they are linked to the internal mental activity, the deep human emotions. That is why it represents this blue whale that symbolizes peace of mind, emotional harmony, communication, connecting with the tail to the mandala of the flower of life that signifies the connection that exists with the created and the universe, the respect we owe to all that it surrounds us, to achieve the perfect balance.

First step
Make the sketch
Second step
Delineate the entire edge with a black pen later with the technique of pointillism relice all the details of the whale to not lose the detail of the skin
Third step
I started to color the mandala of the flower of life I chose this colors because of its meaning green symbolizes nature; turquoise, which reflects the ocean and relaxation; the blue, for the water, the serenity and peace; the violet, is the spirituality, transformation that change so that we can live in harmony with the sincro-destiny.
Fourth step
I sharpened my colors of wood (blue, indigo, violet, pink, black and purple) and gave color to the universe, highlight some sides drawing with the colors of wood and stars with cold white paint.
