Here is a story about a child who stayed with her grand mother then step grand mother before being snatched away from child & family services. It says she was selling nudes online.
Who ever exploited her should be held to account. This is disgusting. How can CFS think they keep kids safe? The world they put the kids into is sick. Where they are preyed upon and exploited. Where they are made to feel powerless because people they don't know seek control of their life. Where they learn desperate and they either sell drugs, steal or sell themselves. And most would not become prostitutes had they never went into CFS.
None of these people wanted to grow up to become prostitutes. They were someones kids with hopes and dreams. And people that miss that those children. Yet CFS worker hold their head high.

The article states that she was selling nude photos online and that the child exploitation unit are investigating. What it doesn't say is if she died during the investigation into her exploitation. I wonder who exploited her.

Who were the foster parents?

I hope to interview the mother one day.

The mother was told to not let her come to where she is living or the police were involved.
CFS tried to pressure mother and daughter apart. As they always have.

She was cutting herself and was really sad.
She wanted out of CFS. She wanted family.
She had nine brothers and sisters, she should have been able to see them more. Fuck this city is sickening.

The article states that 13 children were killed in care last year. 4 of which are undetermined.

In a city that pedophiles prey on boys and girls alike and have little to fear from the law.

So we shall bring them the lulz.

Expect it.

This is a really sad event. @cfs.leaks
A 15 year old girl is not meant to commit suicide.

I remember awhile back on another site posting a story about the indigenous children's plight, a large part contributing to that plight is a addiction of alcohol and drugs by the parents. That's not to say there isn't something wrong with the system but let's take a look a good look in the mirror that spiraled this girl into the system and give a much more adequate assessment of this overall picture given us.

By her own admission in the article the mother said she was addicted to alcohol and drugs, when the child was born she gave her to her grandmother whom after eights months could no longer take care of the child who then was given to her step grandmother. The girl lived with her step mother until somewhere between the age of ten and twelve when the step grandparent became to old to care for the child.

**During the time in this child's life the mother went on to have nine more children that she gave up because she couldn't stop using alcohol and drugs. One surely has to ask themselves what gives her a right to produce unwanted babies to throw into the system? A system she accuses of having problems yet claims she was affording these children a better life by giving them to the system. People will often want to assess blame to hide their own guilt instead of admitting that they are the underlying cause of what is plaguing the system.

"But I mean, like, if she was very troubled, they seen when she was with her family she was happy," said the mother. "They should have let more of that go on than strangers trying to cope and work with her."

****What she doesn't seem to comprehend is that she was a stranger to her own child, she couldn't even give the exact age that the step grandmother became to old to take care of her, that's how much she cared about being involved with her disposable daughter. If we look at the time frame that she became involved with her mother it fits within the realm of possibilities that it was the example being set by her own mother that took her down the road to experimenting with drugs. The mother admits she was, after all these years, still engaged in drugs, alcohol, living in a hotel with a abusive spouse, her daughter was the furthest thing from her mind and the furthest thing down the list of what was her responsibility as a parent. She never wanted to deal with her daughter and further proved so by notifying the system to take care of what naturally should have come to her but pushed off onto the already overburden system. The system evidently determined that it was the mothers influence dragging her daughter down, forbid her to see her mother and sought counseling for the daughter. Sure they could have just said it was a useless endeavor and gave her back to her mother or let the mother continue to be a bad influence on her but unlike the mother they weren't willing to give up on her, they were willing to give it a fight to save her from the world of what plagues the system...trying to break the cycle of abuse, drug and alcohol addictions so these children stand a chance of being healthy productive parents.

This child didn't die at the hands of the system, this child died because she couldn't understand why a mother couldn't love her and give her a stable environment like the one produced by the step grandmother that was ripped away from her loving arms when the grandmother became frail and unable to care for her. Yes mom she wanted to be part of a loving family again, something you couldn't give her for your very own selfish reasons, a desire to love something else more than you loved your own daughter.
