Today, I went to ocean park with my friends. Comparing it with Disneyland ,I like ocean park more!
So first let me talk about the background of ocean park:)
This year is the 30th anniversary of ocean park :) it was once the only one theme park in Hong Kong until the Disneyland was built. Unlike Disneyland , it is a non profit organisation owned by the government!It is a theme park which including marine mammal park , oceanarium,amusement park !
Reason that I think it is better than Disneyland are as follow :)
- The ticket price is much lower than that of Disneyland which is around 400HKD, approximately 50USD
- It is suitable for all range of age, as it does not only having thrill rides , but also having aquarium, animal pavilion etc. Even u can't play those exciting thrill rides , you can still enjoy observing different kinds of animals !
3.Ocean parks is much bigger than that of Disneyland. It occupied an entire mountain! Which have its cable car system and train system for transporting from he foot of the mountain to the peak. Which means there are much more things to play comparing to Disneyland!

Last but not least, if you will visits Hong Kong , I strongly recommend you to visits ocean park :)

Yeah Ocean Park acts as both amusement park and zoo as you can observe those animals from like aquarium and the giant panda house while there are also amusement facilities. So it is rather educational through the theme of protecting animals.
Disneyland relies more on their characters and the entertainment is the main feature provided by them.
All in all, they have different target visitor groups.
