Philippines: Why the Liberal Party (LP) can not win in social media by Kim Iqs

"So much for authenticity. They can never get the right timing of current issues because they are detached from the reality of those in the fringes of society, they do not have a feel for the daily struggles of Filipinos (but Duterte does). LP can never catch up with relevant issues because the country's drug problem is their own doing. Riding the trends of social media issues is admitting their failure."

"This has made mainstream media insecure because the life of these pro-Duterte FB pages today are from their criticisms of the slanted, twisted news the mainstream media are feeding the public. Imagine a well written, piece-by-piece critical opinion of a published news article."

Found this feed in my Facebook account today which is a very clear description of what is happening in the Philippines today. Majority of the Filipino people no longer believes anything that's coming out from the usual newspapers, television reports as well as the online publications like Inquirer, Rappler, etc. To us, FAKE NEWS are all what we are getting from them.

WE HAVE EYES THAT SEE THE OPPOSITE OF WHAT IS BEING FED TO US. Now, they are open. Gone are the days that we look forward to each day's news of what is happening around us from these rotten journalisms. It have been said that President Duterte won because of his SOCIAL MEDIA SUPPORTERS, he only have 21 MILLION FILIPINOS who voted for him. When having no money to support his candidacy...

...HE ONLY HAVE HIS SOCIAL MEDIA SUPPORTERS. And growing.
