# Why the price of steemit prices has dropped so much.

Steam price was approximately 13.6,(Current Prices: 1 STEEM = $6.26 | 1 SBD = $13.60) three months before today.
At that time the user was only 10 thousand. But today we have 80 thousand users(Current Prices: 1 STEEM = $4.26 | 1 SBD = $4.20) in our frozen family.
