Reunion
Maria stood patiently as instructed and waited for something wonderful to happen. It had been a long time for the mother whose arms ached and longed to be filled. Then she saw her reward in the form of her approaching young daughter. A tear escaped and tracked down her cheek.

This is lovely, @joyyrush! I am imagining the mother has been detained somehow, or was perhaps imprisoned. What a bittersweet moment it would be for her to reunite with her daughter!
