Couldn't Start Yesterday

I had been wondering what to write about, as I am still undecided on what I should focus on here in steemit, when I came across this 30 day challenge of @dragosroua. Yesterday was the first day and I was busy protesting with my fellow Puerto Ricans, so I missed it. I'm not sure if it is permitted to just jump in on the 2nd day, but I really want to test my skills when it comes to writing and this seems like a good place to do so.

I came across Steemit by chance. I was looking for some way to make money online. Hurricanes Irma and Maria totally threw my reality off course and I'd been looking for an anchor. Something to stop the chaos and allow me to carry on with my life. Of all the interesting possibilities, Steemit seemed like not only the most promising, but the most real because I would be able to make money being me...in theory. So for a few weeks I researched and found that I would probably fit right in and possibly help these good people in bringing in the masses.

So here I am imagining what it would be like if one of these good people placed 1000 Steem in my account. My answer is pretty boring. In spite of being in dire need of quite a few things, I would let it ride. It would be a smart investment. Risky (af), but smart nonetheless. Sure it would be great to go get me a used vehicle that would allow me to get around easier and thus make a real living. Or to invest a few bucks to get me started at market or some such. I wouldn't do it though.

That gift would mean to me that someone thought I was going to go the distance and do something worthy here. I'd feel awful just cashing it in like that. Hell, I'm still learning how the system works so I'm not even sure what the best way to keep it is. I know I'd like to be able to help others with it. Designating? I'm still working on the lingo and what it all means, but I know I could help others, help others. And that would be cool.

I'd also be looking to help out the kind stranger who put that 1000 Steem in my account. Of course. I would be a big fan and would be pretty involved in helping them. If they were actively doing other things here. If not, then I'd find out how else I could help them. Seems like someone who would do that would probably tell me to pay it forward, which I would definitely do.

Thanks for inspiring my 4th post. I appreciate any of y'all who read it. Mucho blessings. See you tomorrow. Paz y mas.

I'm not speaking for dragosroua, but I think you can start whenever and do as many of these posts as you like. Life is always going to take priority so we do what we can.

And what you would do with the 1,000 STEEM sounds perfectly fine to me. It's your choice after all. Now, it just needs to happen, right? :)

Thanks for reading. I will be patiently waiting for my angel. Lol.

Can you tell me more about this challenge? Sounds fun. I look forward to your next post.

Sorry had internet issues. Smh. Hopefully back on for good. Post-Maria internet, electricity and other things just not the same. Actually put aside the challenge before I lost my connect. Seemed the challenge was geared at people who have been on here a while. Will speak on it in my next post. Lol.
