I woke early as a result of a bad dream. I was under financial pressure (a memory of the old days). Being awake, I quickly remembered my ambition with Steemit. This post is my story of what happened next.

In my daily routine, I first check my Steemit feed. I found a video on diabetes. The bottom line advice was to reduce carbohydrates, eat more vegetables, and exercise.

I found excuses. My ability to change my life has some practical limitations which I have allowed to become bigger than reality. They are real, but are not as restrictive as I tell myself they are.

Carbohydrates for example are both filling and inexpensive. My efforts to lower expenses has resulted in an abnormally high consumption of carbs. This is an excuse. I can do better!

The reality is I have excuses for all of my poor behaviors. Knowing this to be true, I must try to change.

But I really don't want to! Change can be difficult if it means breaking habits!

I am resolved t try.

If we have good habits then Ok, but bad habit, then sometimes it's difficult to change. Thanks @doctorjohn

The first step to change is realising your excuses :)

Habits are the addiction in my opinion. Thanks for message and beauty.

Good post... Habit and excuse

Great post doctor. Nice click too.

@doctorjohn
That is interesting. I had just finished posting about habits. They are hard to break sometimes. It just depends on our will power.
Thank you for reminding us of our need for good habits.
