Season greetings to you as we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, I pray that celebration will never cease to be in our life.
In relation to our post earlier made, we had talked about a way to CELEBRATEthe Easter with the people that are needy in our society who needs a helping hand for them to get a better life. We talked about the Internally Displaced People and how they have had a terrible experience with the political insurgency in their community and villages. We made a POST talking about our plans to give support to these people as a way to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ this Easter. We were able to receive contribution from persons who deemed it fit to see through the success of it all. We want to give a special thanks to you all. @tyrex for coming through, @gloree for the immense suppprt, God richly bless you.
The visit with the internally Displaced People in Nigeria was at Lugbe, Abuja Nigeria. It was quite a tour in trying to locating the place as this was our first time to visit the place but with the help of Google Map and passers by, we got to our destination.
We met with the chairman who had been appointed to be the leader of these people and after a brief introduction we had the opportunity to offer these people the gift we had been able to purchase.
Smiles of joy where seen on the face of the people as they all raised words of prayers and appreciation. The little children were seen with great joy in their heart as they gathered around while we offered them snacks.
Indeed, it was a day well spent and an activity that ought to be carried out over and over again as this can be described as one of the possible best way we can show love to the people in our society and environs.
We have heard a thousand and one times that we shall sow what we reap, what we fail to understand is the fact that not seeds will grow because we sow on the poor soul. Offering a helping hand to the needy in the society is one of the best way to sow as we will always reap it in abundance.
Many a time we keep praying to be the giver and not the borrower, these words are found in our mouth and it's thought resides in our best but we tend to forget to practice it.
Let's stop preaching love and let's begin to practice love.
