I have been an eye witness to many school age children that were not in school during school hours. I have asked some of the children why they were not in school. I have seen families decide which child will attend school this year and which one will stay home.
Some times one child is chosen to stay home so mom can go to work and the child is needed for a baby sitter for a younger sibling. It is normal for relatives to borrow a school age child to act as a nanny.
This rainbow was in the sky the first children’s outreach we did in our area. No rain, just the rainbow.
Some of the teachers and government leaders agreed to alert me to cases where children just need a little help. A hand up and not a handout.
I am gathering my information so I can make a post for #fundition and #crowdfunding.
Thank you as you pray and consider helping this worthy cause. Some how we need to break this cycle and as my father said, “Live and Help Live”.
Street smart kids and many don’t attend school.
