I've consistently said that once downvotes, cease, I can redeploy much of my votes to others. As you can see, I'm dealing with many others besides you and fulltimegeek.
As long as others downvote, I will counter with self upvotes. Thus, its these downvoters who prevent my votes from going to the community.
I will admit, I never thought I would stop getting flagged by Haejin. But I did do some things that he didn't like. He has kept his peace treaty with me for a month now.
I have also seen him give others upvotes that I haven't seen him give before. All you can do is at least try. He has stated what he would like done. If you do that & he keeps flagging, that would make him look really bad.
I have been able to do other things on Steemit now & not worry about everything getting flagged.

People should be able to speak their opinions, and not have their accounts nuked.

@thabiggdogg,
Let me get this straight.
The entire time we had worked together was all because of your personally getting down voted by @haejin and nothing about reward pool abuse or the bigger picture of whale voting behavior. I thought we were trying to set an example.
Guess we really had a different set of ideals after all.

Nope... Remember the time I got bitched out at because I used your service towards @JerryBanfield's scammy shit. There are plenty of other whales abusing Steemit. And if you want "Whale" voting fixed that is up to witnesses... those fuckers need to fix steemit. You should be flagging those fuckers. Flagging @JerryBanfield, Flagging all witnesses that will not fix steemit. Your focus is 100% Haejin.

Yes, I do remember and @jerrybanfield would possibly make a good candidate for future flag campaigns if he continues to boost bullshit posts (recommending incredibly dense things like removing flags from the blockchain consensus for example) but there is a time and place for everything.
Are you aware of the Spartans? Do you understand why they chose to fight the Immortals in the gates of Thermopylae? It's because they had a vastly numerically superious force and fighting one in one in a narrow pass would minimize that disadvantage.
It would be foolhardy for the anti-abuse community to oppose all manipulative whales at the same time. Do you think a concurrent @haejin and @jerrybanfield campaigns would be smart?
If so, you must be smoking that good shit.

Edit: 4 days no answer, I guess I will take that as a no.
There would need to be some time to get the word out, to be able to do this.
I see you used the other account to vote on this post, and thank you so much, @familyprotection will really be benefitted by that. That to me is a show of faith and trust, that you are being truthful about wanting to be a part of the community. That you care. We care about this place, the health of the ecosystem, we want it to last for the long term. Like I said before, practically everyone I know would embrace you with open arms if they felt you cared about the STEEM blockchain.
Do you have any ideas on how we could begin a permanent peace?
I have an idea:
What if you showed that you are serious by extending the olive branch. I guarantee you that within a week or two all downvoting of your posts will have ended. I believe you would end up in the long run making way more money and followers and be a real strong mentor/figure in our awesome world here on the STEEM blockchain.
If you initiate it (the olive branch), I will raise money for you to try and compensate for the damage of the flags during the transition period!
You have my word.

Can you imagine the wonders it would do for this platform if more minnows, dolphins and whales upvoted some plankton. It could make their day or even their year.
This is not charity. It's investing in the content creators and community of this platform.
Without anyone to produce and read the content on this platform, all the STEEM we are trying to maximise via self votes/bots will be worthless

Here's my new blog about this initiative. I hope some of you will join me. Maybe even @haejin if he really is community minded

I resteemed it, hopefully the tag catches on. Maybe once it does you can make a twice weekly post rounding up the best of the plankton posts you've curated, that way it would be easy for everyone to find the best of the best and upvote it.

Sounds like a cool idea.
For now we just need a few people to go and #upvoteplankton, hopefully that will create enough momentum.
I won't have time at the moment to do full curation, but there are enough people doing that.
I would just like to see some votes go to the new and small account holders.
With Binance opening Fiat/Crypto exchange in Uganda, we can expect more people all around the world want to earn money via earning Steem.
