Raising money for charity

I come to you people for help. Hope you can understand...

I'm trying to raise money for charity. People around the world are suffering from illnesses and poverty. Usually this is, because their living habits are bad (ie. don't have food, no place to live).
The charity is called: Concern Worldwide US!
This non-governmental organization has been working towards the elimination of extreme poverty since its founding in 1968. Work, including emergency response and long-term development, is mostly focused on countries ranked in the bottom 40 according to the UN Human Development Report.

I need to raise 1000$ or more if people are so generous to give my part to fight poverty around the world.

This money goes directly to help people in need.
