yeah yeah yeah they're a bunch of saints over there...but what do you mean "We feed there every Saturday with left overs from Church."
I thought you only took food to the Denver House after you had your big monthly feeding?
Are you trying to confuse me again? that's not nice ya know.

We feed about 50 homeless weekly at the Denver House. This is separate from the monthly homeless meal, and is mostly leftovers. When we are short, we make pancakes or sandwiches. The Denver House has no budget for food, so we try to help.

They are doing good work, at the level of people who are at the highest risk, usually the people that the other shelters will not take.

Last year, the Lady that tallies the head count said we fed out 6,953 homeless meals total. Thankfully a lot of that food was donated!

sir smithlabs! this is about as clear as mud. If you feed the homeless at the Denver House from leftovers from your monthly feeding then how can you feed them every week at the Denver House? Your monthly feeding leftovers are a month's worth of food?

The food for the weekly feedings come from left over food from church. We eat Breakfast and lunch every Saturday at Church. I take what is left to the Denver House Saturday afternoons.

The Monthly feeding provides left overs sometimes, and we feed those leftovers the following Monday; at the Denver House.

oh...now it makes sense. You never said that you have breakfast and lunch every saturday at your church, that's where the left over food comes from. It sounds like all you people do up there is eat.

We spend 6 hours there, so eating is a good idea....

We meet, we eat, LOL!

sir smithlabs! Six hours?? doing what? sitting around talking? that sounds like torture.
I mean I know you have the church service but what about the rest of the time?

Sermons, Bible study, fellowship, classes, nursing home visits, health screenings, Clothing disbursment, and we eat food too, ROFLOL!

ok sir smithlabs that makes sense, well there is plenty of needy people out there so it's a good thing some churches are doing all they can to help.
