sir smithlabs the only way to not run out of ammunition if it gets bad, like really bad, is to have your own reloader. I suppose you already have one of those?

ONE??? I am Insulted, ROFLOL! I even cast my own ballistic points....

haha! HA! I KNEW it . okay so I'm sure you have a huge supply of casting metals and what..kegs of gun powder? I don't even know how gun powder comes, like what kind of containers or where you even buy if from?

Various packages, but one pound is the most common size; the other common size is five pounds. You also need Brass and primers....

You should be reloading the 30-06.

sir smithlabs! yes I know you need brass and primers but gun powder I figured they might be trying to make harder to get. Is it possible to make it? I'm surprised you don't make your own like a true prepper.

That is Third tier preperation. A flintlock and home manufactured black powder with cast bullets.

♡♡♡♡♡

sir smithlabs! what does Third tier preperation mean? is that good or bad? you can make black powder but not modern gun powder right?

First tier: Stock in supplies (ammo)
Second tier: Reload ammo
Third tier: Move to the highest level of technology you can maintain personally, on site. Even If I could make modern powder. the primers etc are too difficult to make at home.

I am actively working on tier three now.

sir smithlabs! ok but what about if you have no technology that you can maintain. lol. So we finally found some things that you can't make. Primers and modern gun powder. I guess modern gun powder is a high tech process? too high tech for a smithlabs shop? boy that doesn't sound right.
