Sunday's homeless meal was a big success.

I do, and $600 if I am very careful. I am in $1000 on generators, but that 8,000 watt was donated, and that helped a lot! The 6,000 watt that is down belongs to Billy, so I guess he will pay to fix it.

Got to have the power, so got to have another one.

sir smithlabs! isn't this supposed to be sponsored by your church?

They are helping with food and people. We did all right on both! :)

We were drowning on food costs before they stepped in to help....

:'(

sir smithlabs! oh ok good, well that's a pretty big operation to do unless you have help!

Billy is my BFF, and we started this together. We have half a dozen churches (4 denominations) helping now. There are usually 14 people serving including several from a biker club.

There is a second church that wants to help with food donations too, that will help a lot! Slow growth is always best, and more sources is a good thing, makes things safer, long term.

It is getting pretty big, and we are able to help more now because of that size! When we started out, we had one roaster, and one stockpot of food. This time, we had ten roasters, and a large stock pot of food; and our canopies has grown from ten by ten to ten by forty.

The trailer that was donated has been a GOD sent item for certain! We have had several generators donated, including the 8,000 watt one that was out this last homeless meal.

BUT GOD continues to bless us , as we try to do as he says!

howdy sir smithlabs! hey what is that trailer used for, the tents and generators to haul them in?

Canopies, generators, Tables, grills, stoves, water containers, and trash cans. Basically all the items we use to make this happen.

It also gives us a place to keep them when the items are not needed. We also store some coats, hats, mufflers, gloves, and sleeping bags; for those at the most risk.

sir smithlabs! grills and stoves? do those work in that trailer?

No, we make french toast and grilled cheese sandwiches on the line. They love stuff hot off the grill! :)

We made 50 loaves of toasted cheese sandwiches recently, and everyone got several. They LOVED them, LOL!
