As we have mentioned in our previous post we have started an internal airdrop of Tamil Charity Coins to steemians who have been waiting to be rewarded for their upvotes to our charity request posts patiently for months and The "Minnows Helping Minnows Community" initiative almost a year ago.
In this post we want to let you know the details of the airdrop and about the Tamil Charity Coins (TCC).
Every steemians who have supported our charity work and The "Minnows Helping Minnows Community" initiative will be gifted 50 TCC tokens. Oldest supporters will be rewarded first, going back almost a year to March 2018.
TCCs are created and distributed not as SMTs as originally planned, but as Steem-Engine's Smart Contract Tokens(SCT) with steem engine on steem block side chain. As such, steem dapps and apps have to add additional code to interact and handle SCTs.
So far, steemit has not done it. Your steemit wallet will not display any SCT, even if you received and owned a STC. Steem peak, on the other hand, has added some code and you are able to view any SCTs you own in your steempeak wallet. In order to get the full functionality of the SCT- view, send and trade - you have to log into steem engine's website https://steem-engine.com/ using your steem username and through steem connect or steem key chain. With your steem engine wallet, you will be able to view and send and with their exchange buy and sell SCTs.
