We all know, well some of us anyway, knows what the oldest and baby child in the family usually think or feel. I'm first so I come first, it's mine I shouldn't have to share, wait your turn, my curfew is later. I'm the baby, what I say is gold, I can hit you and you will get in trouble if you hit me back. It's mine all mine, I'm the BOSS! Blah Blah Blah and Blaaahhhh!!!! So who's stuck in the middle, you wonder? Well, I'll tell you who, ME..." Hello my name is The Second Oldest/ The Middle Child." You know the one who gets the hand me downs, the one who is the last to know, the one who is picked on by the oldest, aggravated by the baby and completely left to fend for themselves, or so it seems, by the parents. I'm stuck in the middle trying to survive the screwups of the oldest, live up to the expectations of the parents, without being blamed for the rebellious acts of the baby. I'm in the middle wanting to be seen, wanting to be heard and trying to make you proud. See me, hear me, believe in me unless I stay Stuck In The Middle forever!
