Are You Currently Bearish or Bullish on Crypto?
Since January 2018, the bears have taken control of the markets. We've seen the price of Bitcoin drop from $20,000 to $3900 as I write this.
However, in the past few months... I've been seeing lots of people crawling out of the woodworks stating that the bear market is over and the bull market has begun. 😲
"Can we first get out of the bear market at least?" SHESHH!! 😂
For the last 14 months, I've been out of the markets completely not buying hardly anything. I did dabble in some leverage trading on Bitmex but that's about it.
I've had tons of patience for over a year by not to pulling the trigger on buying some Crypto and it was hard not to FOMO IN!
I did get real close in buying during December when the whole crypto markets hit around 100 Billion Market Cap but backed out.
Did I miss the freaking bottom!! No one really knows for sure. 🤷♂️
They are right when they said that Cryptocurrency is like the wild wild west... Big Gainz, Big Losses, Tons of Speculation, and Greed!
In my opinion, The trend is your friend and that trend is still down. 📉
I believe that the next bull run will start next year or when Bitcoin close over $6,000 on a weekly chart (Heavy Resistance) whichever one comes first.
In the meantime, you still can make gainzzz if you are willing to take some risk. I might have to start buying some little at a time. 😏
So what is your opinion? Are you still Bearish or very Bullish Right now? That is a questions that everyone really wants to know. 🙋♂️

I think we will see another pull down this year, and that will probably be the last chance to accumulate and build a good portfolio. Unless some big news happens, we will remain bearish for a while.

I followed ur Twitter share here and I'm glad I did as I've not really been thinking too much about price since I bought 800 steem a few weeks back at $0.32/steem.
Looking at today's prices I'm feeling good about my decision which did have an element of FOMO about it. Ha ha, sometimes (but rarely) the missing out factor can be the push you need.
As to the question. I have feeling/intuition that 3000 was the bottom and we're gonna see a long consolidation period. Bouncing around between 3000/4000 - 5000/6000.
I said exactly the same thing about 6000 being the marker for certainty that the bull is back in a comment on my 'why I bought steem' post. Now is the time for accumulating I guess 😉
Hopeful over here... but sceptical on the possibility, right now, of a true bull run like the one in 2017.

Watch the full half of the cup. The best thing about being in a bear market is that allows you to accumulate more over time. It's not wise to wish for a bull run if you are a blockchain believer, because if you miss to hop in this "train", the price will probably never come down to these lows.

Hi @stackin I have the same Experience. I had invested in few cryptocurrencies in 2017 and then market got crashed badly. I am still holding and waiting for another bullrun for more than a year. But I have setup my mind set for long term and keep my holdings for couple of years. What you suggest.

If your holding for couple of years, I would buy the dips with very small amounts at a time on your favorite projects. However, don’t take advice from me, I’m no financial advisor 😅

I think we are in a cautious bullish period. We just saw bitcoin bouncing back from around 3700. I expect more bounces up and down with slowly increasing lows and highs. Lets see how it goes.

Well, since we both follow the same traders on Twitter I guess my opinion is almost the same as you... Nothing changed, the trend is still down, and imo we are going to get a small pump to 3950 to close the CME gap and then finally capitulate, it will be the first time BTC is under the 200MA which will make us go to 2,2k, 1,8k or 1k (some say that we are going to 740, I don't think so, but even if we go it's going to be one hell of a wick with everyone and their mommas buying. I'm going to wait, watching some MAs, some trendlines, some volumes and some stoch RSI, waiting to get signs of either a consolidation, a reversal or a dump... right now we don't have any thing saying up or down, what we have is people buying and thinking this is the bullrun, they probably forgot already how January-december was, with pumps of many % followed by dumps...
Is this the time to buy? For a good investor? No! Wait for confirmation (break of the 50MA). For a bad investor? Yes... Dollar cost average the shit out of cryptos, but don't cry when you see your portfolio go down 50%
