✴️ DON'T HAVE TIME? YOU GOT TO MAKE TIME, IT'S THAT SIMPLE!

in charlesfuchs •  7 years ago

“Fast is the new big. Perfection is the killer to production. Perfection is basically a symptom of procrastination.” ~ Grant Cardone.

We hear it all day long, we even trick ourselves saying it to ourselves all the time... "I don't have time to do it". ⏰

I've ben an Entrepreneur for over 20+ years and learned to make more time than most people, how does one do this if we all have only 24 hours a day?

Check this out, we are all live busy lives, each and every one of us... but why do some people seem to have so much time on their hands and get things done more than most?

The answer is very simply explained by one word. Speed! You kill it with "Quickness"... What is the saying; "Money Loves Speed"! 🏎️💰

"So what the hell does that mean Charles?"

You have to multiply your time and efforts on every task you do in life. For example, people tend to spend hours a day cooking and eating. Why not just knock it out spending 20 minutes a day doing that, you'll save up couple hours a day. 🍲🍔🍓🥝

Another example, people who workout everyday tend to spend over 1-2 hours a day in the gym... why not just go straight ham at the gym for 30-40 minutes and just get it done faster. 🏋🏽‍♂️

Another Example, people say they are tired and need sleep. No you don't, for over 20 years after grinding as hard as I do... I only sleep 6 hours a day. I trained my mind and body to do that. Well, guess what, that gives me 14 more hours a week than most people who sleep 8 hours a day. Think about that for a bit, I just created a whole day for myself... lets call it SUUNMONDAY! 🤣

You know what? I can write ten's of thousands of examples down... it don't matter, they all have the same unique answer... "Start doing your activities faster". The more you do this, the faster and easier things will get.

It's all about expanding your time, you will learn that you will have more time doing more things everyday because you just "Get It Done" Fast! 💯

I'm currently knocking out two blogs a day, I got faster in writing my thoughts down. When I first started Steemit, I was freaking slow and took hours to write one blog post but after each blog, I got much faster and way better.

Yeah, there is bad Grammer and tons of misspelled words but it don't matter, at least I got it done and the message I write is received to the masses. 😎

Now by doing these blogs faster, I have more time to comment and curate, but by then... I'm already doing some "Swing trading" with tons of cryptos.

I got 10X more things done than the average person who would spend hours on one blog trying to make it perfect, but im already on my next 3-4 blogs. 📝

Hope you guys understand what I'm writing about, its not about having time... it's all about making time and the best way to do it is start getting shit done faster everyday.

A week for me is like 14 days because I already know I don't waste my time and get things done twice as fast than normal people.

Most people will start saying this, "I'm not fast, I cant do it". That is just an excuse, it's a skill create by choice. Tomorrow morning try this out, take your showers faster, brush your teeth faster, put your cloths on faster etc... etc.. you will realize something, you probably created 30 minutes of extra time. If you put this type of "action" in your life with all your activities, you will create so much time, it's not even funny.

Just try it out, you will see what I mean. 😆

So i hope this helps many of you guys out in a way thats so different and has that "out of the box thinking" but it does work.

Until Next Time, Keep On STACKIN! 💞

Charles I have to say great post, there is a lot to unpack there. For starters, I could resonate with the 2-hour gym sessions and can I go harder and hammer those weights? Hell yeah! I will be trying that tomorrow! Also, I love the Grant Cardone Quote you started with, I remember Grant talking about how his first book had a ton of miss spelling and grammar issues and when people point that at to him, he says "yeah and it still was a best seller!" Why??? Because the message could still be gathered is my presumption.

I myself and a very reluctant writer but I have a lot to say and often just skip blocking because I am a much better orator than writer (#Pause) and I am a comedian so usually only I have to read what I wrote but you made an excellent case for giving to the world!

The other you said that I know I heard before but tonight it truly resonated with me is the fact that I have been using perfection as a means to procrastinate and really there is a wall of fear to knock through because improvement only comes with time, effort, trial, and error.

Thank you for your efforts, you have awakened something in me and for that I am greatful. For I have had my Steemit account for nearly 7 months because of you and this is the first post I have replied to!

Cheers to making 2018 amazing for many others and ourselves!

Warmly,
JaMarr John Johnson

P.S. it took me 16mins to write this minus a few ADHD moments

Thanks @jamarrj! Great to see you here boss, Steem is growing fast! If you do videos, you can use D.live and D.tube and the video content posted there are put here also :)

No sleep for the comming years... Just so much to do!

Charles @stackin I am glad you saved me some extra time today. Now I am going give you an UP Vote and get the Hell Out of Here. I have so many others to UP vote now......................

I do love those upvotes lol

Time is Money!

🤑

We are all creating our own realities. Whatever you believe is possible is true for you. All the people who constantly say "I can't" are correct because that is the reality they are creating for themselves. The people who say they will and visualize that whatever they desire is already a done deal are also correct.

Certainly, time management is the tool to success nowadays!
Good thoughts dude!

Great post. I recently seen a video that said 6 hours of sleep is more healthy than 8. And that healthy people only need 6. It creates so much time and its awesome. I love this post. I alsi have a question. How do you put your social media links in the picture to click at the end of your posts?

You have to look at the source code and copy/paste it. There was some info about it but I forgot myself lol... thanks for stopping by boss! 🙌🏼

You are so right, we can achieve everything we want, we are the force, we are the force!
You ve been an entrepreuner since your childhood? :))
Cheers @stackin

Haha, been in this simulated life for over 4 decades 😉😀

WOW
I couldn't tell that! Keep living like this then :D

Yeah, I've learnt this a few months ago. Speed is really essential to success, because if you don't pick up the pace, you are not gonna do a lot in your day. Speed also motivates me to do even more throughout my day, because it starts feeling like I'm in the zone! 😎

I’m so surprised people don’t understand this easy concept lol... speed = awesome life 😂🙌🏼

Cool post...I gotta agree, being an entrepreneur, time is so valuable.... outsource what you can, and like you said, do stuff faster.😊

It's all about managing your time, I never understood what they meant by "time is money"....now i realise there's nothing more true 😏

Great post, thanks for sharing, keep up the awesome work buddy 😊😎

Thanks @max-winner! You the man! 💯

Money indeed loves speed bro,I have learned this from watching the many videos of @grantcardone .

Always act when the idea is hot, with all this ideas I will be achieving most of my goals this year.

He the man! The dude knows how to get things done 😎

I like how you explained about getting things done faster to acquire more time. Its very logical. This is enlightening !

Yap we are working on this @stackin.

24/7 Grind, no other way to live 💪🏼🙌🏼💯

I've been making a lot of time for my steemit account lately. lol

That's the stuff I like to hear 🤣

Done is better than perfect when perfect aint done!

Dude. This post is gold.

Here's another tip for speeding up writing: voice-to-text dictation software. I know first drafts are MUCH faster dictated rather than typed.

I'm going for a personal best of 40 (quality) blog posts from now to the end of the month. My strategy:
1- batch my work. I'm going to see if I can look over my writing ideas list and crank out 10 posts written in one day. Then edit/format/photos etc... In another batch. Then set them to auto post on a schedule and start the next batch.

  1. First drafts will all be dictated verbally.
  2. As soon as I can afford to hire an overseas VA I'll outsource proofreading/formatting so that I only spend time doing the enjoyable creative parts of writing.

Resteeming this for sure.

great information....

Time is everything. As you said, you have to discipline yourself and not making excuses all the time! :) I agree everything you said! :)

Inspiring post.

How did you find the time to read this while running Facebook LOL

Facebook is boring
its time to move on to steemit.

😂

LOL Zuck!

Hi Charles. What's swing trading? I am still at the phase of taking ages to make a post. I never posted anything before I came onto steemit and now I am making something most days, and the speed and quality is definitely on the increase day by day.
You sound very busy do you get time to chill?

ahahahaha .. .sounds like you have once again read/ heard the 10x book you recommended to us :)

good job buddy & sooooo true .... you gotta do what you gotta do but don´t waste time as time a scare and you will need any minute

Cheers

The words are so inspirational.Thank you for writing to motivate us.Appreciate your work
-cheers-

Amen to that!

Preach brother! I have the exact same attitude to life! You have to MAKE the time. If you don’t, it’s surely not important to you

I should become a preacher lol jk :)

Reverend Stackin of the Church of Steemit. lol

ya, i am taking your advice and i have followed it in my daily life as well, surely it make sometime for you, thanks.

So true!! It's about making time , I'm trying to put one blog a day , sometimes taking video/editing , photo editing / writing and it's so crazy with the full time job .but gotta keep up with it. 💪💪💪

wow sir you have explained it very nicely with nice examples we found in day today life..
"Why not just knock it out spending 20 minutes a day doing that, you'll save up couple hours a day. "
thanks for the great advise..you help the community not just by giving money and rewards but also by giving very useful advises :) hats off to you sir :)

Why do people call me sir? LOL

for the respect..you are a senior person here..and most of all i respect your ideas..your way of thinking..you deserve it..so dont feel bad about it..just consider it as a token of love and gratitude :)

We all have the same 24 hours in a day.. hmm

that is so nice idea.............definitely i will follow this way .....my every day life..........such a great post..............

Wow this is really inspirational and a motivator to my spirit, Nice write up. Keep stackin!!!

I guess you could say this is very "timely" message many of us creative slow pokes could use right now, thanks for posting @stackin!

Now this one was such a good reading, i loved it, and you are right!! we all full of excuses :-D
I will try to think of your message during the day, and speed up things a bit. I am already on the "fast track" in general, but here and there i can definitely do even better! Great advice from you, thanks a lot ! :-) Best!

Saving time is key...a lot of people claiming not to have time mostly spend their time doing something irrelevant. It is very wise to create time out of no time. By doing this you discover that what it would take a normal person to achieve, it would take you more than half the time to achieve that same thing if not more...keep stackin

You're right. Many people say that they don't enough time but sleeps till 10.00 am and spend hours in front of the TV.

You don't have time? easy, sleep less!

Yes, do things faster. Makes sense.

I dont want to wast a lot of time in writing a long comment because like you said time is money but your article is so true man! Thanks for sharing!

@stackin

Why do i feel like you are talking to me?
I feel like I need more time all the time. Blogging on Steemit alone can sometimes seem like an arduous task. I'm going to apply your method and hope it works.

Yeah, there is bad Grammer and tons of misspelled words but it don't matter, at least I got it done and the message I write is received to the masses.

Supertrue. Man im Dutch so the bad grammer I didn;t even see. But i get the point. If my spelling has to be perfect. I wasn;t here.

peace

Thanks k for posting I'm replying faster to this than I would have e if I had not read it the. I'm going to quickly smash out a blog and then run 10k then cook dinner and trade crypto wile filming all of the to clog about it and make more Steem for myself . Of dam I forgot grammer

I think I could have spent more time on that !

Ps it took me one minute to write that and it's mostly not true .

I have written a blog post inspired by reading this! took me a wile .

I think I will follow your exemple and I will create a day for myself - SUUNMONDAY! :D

Indeed, "it's all about making time and the best way to do it is start getting shit done faster everyday. "

I like how you write, you give me a lot of energy. All the best for you!

Time is everything, I always find it funny when some of my friends say thay don't have the time to do stuff but they can binge watch entire series...

"Perfection is basically a symptom of procrastination."

You know what, you're right. And wrong.

I will completely agree that trying to make everything you do perfect is indeed a waste of time. I know I've spent way more time than was necessary trying to get a story to be close to perfect. But it ended up costing me way more time which I could've used to write more.

That is the point where I think you're wrong.

"Perfection is a process not a goal."

Forgot where I read this quote, but I believe it to be true. Everyone has a different definition of perfect and trying to get it on the first attempt is not happening. But if you spent less time on each attempt and make more attempts, then you can achieve your idea of perfection over time.

But despite my opinions, this is still a great post. And more importantly, it got me thinking. So that earns my vote and resteem.

Wow nice article

Wow! This is so inspiring.... 👍👍

Great advice! And very well explained. Thank you.

Time is $$$. Use it wisely.

It's a good offer & thank you for sharing! @stackin

Frist time I listen make time. I listened make money. Great idea. Thanks for sharing. Resteem and upvoted.

I also try to sleep 6 hours per night but I feel tired afterward and am not as productive because of this. How can I fix this?

Great advice speed and efficiency are important skills!

I hope you don't do everything fast man :) great post

This is absolutely true. I clinically have OCD and I've worked really hard to mentally overcome the craving to "fix" everything or perfect everything I do. I'm glad you talked about this though. Very good reminder on what's important.
