I dont even know of any stock that has increased as much in price as Bitcoin has. I mean, there's Amazon, but it went from $5-$10 to $1000 in a matter of 20 years. stop looking at the dollar price, steemit and all other altcoins are valued in bitcoin and have their biggest trading volume there. If bitcoin goes down, so does the dollar value of steem. Steem is actually one of the coins that holds relativily well so far compared to others.

and then people look at the dollar value and sell to bitcoin because "its falling" which probably causes the whole altcoin market to go down if bitcoin goes down, annyoing!

Absolutely insane just how much prices of Bitcoin and the other cryptos have risen in the past 5 or 6 years. I don't know of any STOCK that has done anything like that, even mindblowingly amazing stocks that did fantastic for five years - none of them jumped thousands of percentages. Amazon, for example, has ran from $5 to $1000, but that's in 20 years. This crypto currency is the next big thing.
