Chasing The Dream

Ever since I was a child I have been overly fascinated by science, technology, travel, finance, activism and most of all meteorology. I have ADHD so although I may be seemingly all over the place at times those fundamentals do not change. I have found that science, tech, and finance have helped to keep me interested in staying alive in a world that evolves oddly slowly and quickly at the same time. I grew up in a small midwestern country town in Kansas and in a diverse family and I found myself surrounded by people who are unintelligent, slow, overwhelmed, uninterested or too interested in extremely basic things. Now I mean this no diss on the people I grew up around as there is a charm to simplicity as well and there will be times when you see that shine through in me, after all we are all human. I can not honestly today tell you what I will be talking about a year from now but I can guarantee it will revolve around one of my basic interests. I have an advanced degree in atmospheric science which means a college gave me a paper after I paid them a lot of money, time and hard work to hopefully make a decent living out of. Well since life hands out lemons at every turn, I ended up in insurance where I spent several years working auto claims and currently work property claims. My goal is to work for myself and do what makes me happy since doing the same thing every day quickly gets boring. And because I love pictures and evidently am a narcissist, here's a picture of me.
