Chasing Senbazuru 2–5, Plus a How-To

in chasingsenbazuru •  7 years ago

Welcome wonderful and amazing people. I hope you are all doing great on this beautiful night. At least it is night here on the far side of the globe, but I hope whatever time it happens to be where you live or when you read this is going well.

Today is the second day of my latest photo project, Chasing Senbazuru. If you are lost already, don't panic!—grab your towel and go read the introduction post for this project.

I folded five cranes today, two to bring yesterday's total to three, and three for today. I'll only be sharing three of them for today's post though. Maybe more tomorrow. As I mentioned yesterday, I experimented with all the photos. No composition experiments today, but playing around with edits.

Let me know your favorite—Oh and stick around after the photos for a tutorial if you also want to join in on chasing your own senbazuru.

Well, how was that? Any of those three jump out at you? Let me know your thoughts in the comments.

On my last post I got a request for how to fold your own origami crane. I looked on youtube for good tutorials. Here is a decent one. There are quicker ways to fold it and he goes very slowly. But if you are doing it for the first time, this may be the best way to learn.

Give it a try. If you fancy trying your own senbazuru, be sure to tag your effort #chasingsenbazuru.

Anyway, that is all. See you tomorrow for some more crane fun.
