seriously HODL all you can if you ask me, with STEEM under a dollar at the moment, it’s an incredible buy if you have some FIAT to put in there — of course, not advice but just think of it like, split whatever your making on your residuals kinda thing, that’s probably the safer way, just consider down periods in your day to day work or if your considering a big change in 2019 this might be a wise investment.
Of course, I’m bound to say that, I remember the three days (maybe less) when we saw crazy 14SBD heights, I cashed out on those massively and it provided an incredible Christmas and I managed to mobilise myself for this year, upgraded a bunch of things and bought presents for the ones I love, it was incredible to think that came from involvement and content creation.
If anything it completely deleted all my feeling about social media after feeling like I was bashing my head against a brick wall of working with agencies and the way they ‘promoted’ and defined how they should project the image of a brand and it’s products just to move numbers/product — I always hated that, it’s probably what eventually got me ‘delisted’ from the ‘advocates’ to call was my opinion about Nokia not reacting to the need for colour screens (they really did not see that coming!)
ANYWHO.
My point with this little posts was simple — I wanna lay down some bulletpoints to consider as we head faster and faster into the new year.
- steemmonsters will be huge and will onboard people to blockchain and will be a massive ‘business’ success case way before even SMT arrives, that’s kinda huge in the grand scheme of things for other blockchain apps to learn from.
- steemhunt could be one of the first dapps to get listed on an exchange and while it might take a little time to have a decent price at first the momentum and partnership with partners/exchanges is hugely valuable for the ecosystem as a whole
- the interfaces to the blockchain are becoming native to the experiences that people are having on existing apps today — they won’t care so much about the inner workings of the blockchain at first or the other communities but then we have potential for those verticals to just skyrocket in their own sense — the dapps that sustain themselves and the community win.
- having seen $3/4/7 steem at some points last year it’s a no brainer not to post and blog on this platform, if anything as well it grows with you — if you had felt and got stuck in a rut that you were just doing the same old same old then please, just blog for six months here and don’t take anything out then write that post after six months with your results — I’m sure it won’t be a negative.
- those dapps I mentioned, well they are gonna need support, empowering, content, writing, feedback, momentum and most of all continued social exposure to maintain the hype train and so that people continue to give them attention — you can be rewarded with steem tokens for that curation, yes, you can earn from the blockchain, those figures you see are real figures — money and cents.
So yeah, it’s a steal right now, just buy yourself £100/$100 of steem for a family member for a Christmas present and head over to the steemhunt signup page to get yourself and them a free account and get blogging.
I’ll be putting together some little videos all through December to help you get started and I can’t wait to show you what I’ve been working on to help you not get going but give you some empowerment and retention on the chain each day for a month! (More on that soon)
pinterest epic wins pinboard → brand advocate for nokia, 1000heads, verisign → won vloggie for node666 (san fran 2006) → television for time team history hunters 1999 (burton on trent) → sold me.dm to evan williams in april 2011 → went to phil campbell, alabama to help raise money after tornado ripped up the town (was on sky news, bbc news)→ CNN for sxsw 2013 about austin south by southwest event → video chat with robert scoble from rackspace → music video can you spot me? → won the digital derry contest for 5k euros → crowdfunded digital signage concept called pi street → now living life through digital blockchains.
You bet, I have the same feeling about Steem! This is the bottom for me!
