When I recently was checking out Expedia ... I noticed that they stopped accepting Bitcoin as a form of payment.
I did notice that Coinbase was ending it's relationship as a third-party payment system, so that could be partially why Expedia decided to quietly just stop accepting Bitcoin.
The other reason could simply because of the sharp and dramatic price decrease .. particularly those who booked using Bitcoin back in December 2017/January 2018 gained in getting cheap flights and hotels since now Bitcoin's value is almost 70% less than it was back in those months.
And even through all of that price volatility, Cheapair continues to accept Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, and Dash as forms of payment. Brave!
I will use Cheapair to book flights if I'm low on "fiat cash" ... then I'll use my cryptocurrencies to purchase flights/hotels.
