Three keys that will help you avoid dating frauds

Key 1: Close your door to fornication

When you close your door to fornication, you already weed out at least 70% of the crooks. Most people who see clearly that you are not up for a fornication experience quickly move on to seek other preys. Even the persistent ones drop off after a while when you refuse to give in and you cut them off from your air-space.
If you base your relationship decisions on fornication, apart from the negative spiritual implications (#SoulTies) that go with it, you are also likely to make your future relationship decisions for the wrong reasons. Loose hips sink ships.
Hebrews 13:4 Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.

Key 2: Keep your bible open

This key is a metaphor for feeding on and staying on the Word. This key is also a metaphor for studying successful marriages in the context of the Word of God. Many Christians only understand marriage in the context of the negative experiences of themselves, their families and friends instead of the context of the Word of God.
What is God’s purpose for marriage? How does God want us to operate a marriage? How does God want us to start a marriage? How does God expect us to behave when there is a conflict of opinions in marriage? How does God expect us to behave when there is a dispute in marriage? I ran a poll on Twitter and several men and women think it is wrong for their spouses to know what they earn. What is God’s opinion on this from tHis Word? What is God’s opinion about polygamy from His Word? You will be surprised that many Christians are confused about this. What is God’s opinion about cheating in marriage (it happens and it is forgivable but is it a tolerable behaviour)? What is God’s purpose for children in marriage? What is the role of relatives? Who takes higher priority, your wife or your sister? What about sex in marriage? There are ongoing debates in Christian circles as to whether oral sex is a sin or not. Find your own answers.
Every believer needs to prayerfully seek answers to these questions before launching out into marriage. As you seek answers to these questions, you will conceive in your heart by the Spirit of God what kind of marriage God wants for you. We cannot all have marriages that look exactly alike. You then speak your future in marriage into existence as the Lord has shown you and this helps you to maintain a focus.
Our guarantee for success in marriage (like any other thing in our lives) must spring out of a strong revelation of God’s Word.
Matthew 7:24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

Key 3: Put your ears next to the mouth of God and only do what He tells you to do

This key is a very crucial and important one. Your chances of being scammed come very close to zero if you commit NEVER to go into a relationship till you hear from God.
Many look at the external trappings and do not see beyond the surface. The Spirit of God sees everything we cannot see about people. If you cultivate a habit of praying in tongues for extended periods, your spirit will more easily pick things that your physical senses are naturally unaware of.
